This clears the history but has to be performed manually each time you want the history cleared. Admittedly this only involves a couple of clicks so is straightforward enough. You could, though, set Internet Explorer so that it automatically cleared history on closing down the application. Put a check mark next to the items you want to clear and then tap Clear data.
